The NCOA is for cadets grades C/SrA to
C/MSgt. It is the third level in the CTEP
Progression Plan. NCOs will be given intermediate training in
leadership and effective communications skills and will be introduced to
topics such as the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Protection Policy and United
States Air Force Core Values.
In
addition, students will also receive advanced instruction in the
execution and instruction of drill and ceremonies. Upon completion,
NCOs will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to take on
intermediate leadership roles within and outside of the squadron. This
school reinforces material covered in Phase II of the Cadet Program,
Achievements 4-6, as referenced from Leadership: 2000 and Beyond, Volume
I.
